Heresy

I amost had the first chapter finished with! I was happy with it... sort of... and posted it on the web. Then, after some more feedback I realised that it was all tell, tell, tell - and no show!! Also, it didn't start with a bang, not hooking people into it! So, a bad start!

But, i aim to persist, and I've rewritten it - AGAIN!!

This time, with added show, and some new characters! Let's hope it's good enough now!

To try and get into the right frame of mind about showing the story from the characters point of view I've picked up the new Terry Brooks novel, Gypsy Morph. He always writes well from his characters POV, and gets right into their thoughts! Hopefully, reading him with a critical eyes view, it will rub of on my stories!
